ARAZAN SYNAGOGUE

The synagogue of Arazan, a small village near Taroudant, was rediscovered in the 1980s.
At that time, it was still being taken care of by Harim, an Amazigh of the city who kept his keys for decades.
The interior of the synagogue was filled with straw; there were also inscriptions in Hebrew and an ancient arch for the scrolls of the Torah.
